Markswright Company, headquartered in Washington DC, is run by a board of directors and it shares ownership with employees. More than 60 years ago the Company was started under another name by Morris Marks, a well known real estate developer. Andrew Marks carried on his father's legacy when he partnered with his wife, Chandra, to found the current Markswright.

Andy and Chandra have continued the acquisition, development, construction, and management of residential and commercial properties. In addition, they have given depth to the company by focusing on service--particularly, care for tenants and employees--not only to foster ethical business practices, but to provide greater income and value to property owners.
